Paley Middle East Clinic

The World's Best in Limb Lengthening & Deformity Correction.

Ilizarov, PRECICE® magnetic nails, and 3-D planned osteotomies—delivered by the region’s leading limb-reconstruction team.

The Paley Middle East Clinic is a groundbreaking orthopedic center, introducing revolutionary procedures pioneered by Dr. Dror Paley at the Paley Clinic in the US to the Middle East region. We specialize in limb lengthening, deformity correction, extremity salvage, complex orthopedic, and spine surgeries. We use cutting-edge technology such as custom-made 3D printed implants, intramedullary magnetic lengthening nails, the latest in external fixation, and osseointegration prostheses for amputees when limb salvage is not possible. From pediatric foot deformities to genetic disorders affecting the upper & lower extremities, neurological conditions, and more, our comprehensive orthopedic care is unparalleled in the Middle East. At the Paley Middle East Clinic, we’re dedicated to providing world-class orthopedic treatment close to home.

Frequently Asked Questions.

Is limb-lengthening painful?

Most patients describe manageable discomfort during distraction; pain is controlled with multimodal analgesia and physiotherapy.

How fast can bones be lengthened?

Standard rate is 0.75 to 1 mm per day in three or four increments; exceeding this risks nerve/tissue complications.

Can adults undergo lengthening?

Yes—internal nail techniques are suitable up to ~55 years if bone quality permits.

When can my child return to school or sports?

School resumes once mobile with crutches (2–4 weeks); sports restart after consolidation and muscle-strength recovery, typically 6–12 months.
